My Desk Mate
Jenny is my desk-mate. She is a hard-working girl. When she was twelve years old, she won the first in a city-wide poetry recitation contest. Now she is chairman of the Student Union in our school. She gives us the impression that her ability to express her ideas is excellent. In spare time, she likes to carry a book .with her and writes down what she sees and hears. She's such a lovely girl that I enjoy talking with her to share her ideas.

My desk mate is alovely girl. Her name is Li Xiang. She tells me that the meaning of her name isdream. Her parents hope her to be a girl with dream. She is a little bit shy,but I am outgoing. So I often talk to her after class. I want to make friendswith her. At first, she did not talk too much, but latter, she liked talking tome. We share our interests with each other. Of course, we help each other in studyand make progress together.
我的同桌是个可爱的女孩，她叫李湘。她告诉我她名字的意义是梦想。她父母希望她成为一个有梦想的女孩。她有点害羞，但是我性格外向，所以我课后经常和她聊天。我想和她做朋友。起初，她不大说话，但是后来她就喜欢和我聊天。我们相互分享兴趣。而且，我们在学习上互相帮助，共同进步。
