篇一：My village
I live in a village, so I’m a villager. Many people think that it is a pity to live in the countryside, but I think it’s lucky to be born there.
In the countryside, many people, including my parents, are not well educated and they’re poor. However, when I was a child, they taught me the first lesson that was important in my life. “We are poor, but we can live with smiles.” They try their best to send us to school. Even though they’re as poor as a church mouse, they never give up offering us a chance to receive education. In face of difficulties, they never say no.
In the village, there are green trees growing, fragrant flowers blooming and clear rivers flowing around. Birds fly up and down; animals jump here and there; wheat plants dance in the wind. What beautiful sceneries they are!
When my unfriendly classmates laugh at me at school, I say nothing. I don’t care about anything they may say or think, for I love my village deeply. She has given me spiritual support. I don’t compare my classmates’ parents with mine. But I will compare my future to theirs. I will make every effort to improve my school records. As a saying goes, “He who laughs last laughs best.” I’m sure I’ll be the one who laughs best.
No matter where I go, I will never forget the village where I was born and brought up.
篇二：My village
My home village is a small one. It`s in Yuxian county of Shanxi Province. Small as it is, it`s very beautiful.
There are many hills around my home village and they are more beautiful than some big mountains. In spring, we can fly kites which are made by ourselves on the top of the hills. The kites fly very high.In summer, the trees are green and the grass is green, too. It is green everywhere on the hills. There are so many wild apple trees on the hills. The wild apples are nice to eat. In autumn, the corns under and around the hills are ripe. So we eat them almost every day. In winter, when it snows, all the ground is covered with snow. We can play with snow and sometimes we eat the clean snow with sugar. In my hometown the sky is blue, the air is clean, the water is sweet and the people are very friendly. I love my hometown!
篇三：My village
My village is in the southwest of England, which is a very beautiful area in the country. In the north of this area there are hills.
In the south there are several villages on the coast. In the east there are woods and in the west there are more hills.There are several islands off the south coast, where fishermen go to catch fish. My village lies on the River Test and has a population of 750 people. It lies 15 kilometres to the east of Hope,the nearest town. A new road runs into the village and separates it into two parts. It is famous for its cheese. My house is part of an old farm. Before, my father used to keep animals in it, but now the building has been changed into a house. There is a beautiful garden in front of my house. I grow many kinds of flowers and vegetables in it. In the summer days my family often stay there in the open air and cook our meals.
