故乡的英语作文【篇一】

记得几年前，我回到我的家乡——郑州。这时，那里的路是土做的，一下雨路就变得脏兮兮的，一踩就沾着人们的鞋子满是泥土，很让人恼怒。之前没有垃圾桶，垃圾扔的到处都是，有人把垃圾到清澈见底的小河里。有人甚至在河边的草地上杀牛，把牛的骨架扔到河里，还把牛的血弄得满地都是，十分可恶!
随着人们经济水平的提高和环保意识的增强，我的家乡也发生了翻天覆地的变化，不信你看。
现在的家乡的.街道变得非常宽阔，周围放了一些垃圾箱，人们再也不乱丢垃圾了，街道变得非常干净、整洁。周围的树木变得郁郁葱葱，十分茂盛。小河又再次变得清澈见底，绿油油的草地像一块绿色的地毯，是人们去玩耍、旅游的好去处·。如今，再也没有那坑哇哇的土路，让人们行走方便。家乡的变化可真大呀!
啊!在这几年中，家乡的变化可真大呀!变成了群山环抱，绿水相依，构成了一幅精美的画卷，作为一名郑州人，怎么不为此感到自豪呢!
