Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Nice to meet you! My name’s Li Tianchang. I’m from No.50 Middle School. It’s my honor to give you a short speech. Today, my topic is “Please choose me to be an environmental ambassador”.
As we know, our environment is becoming worse and worse. Lots of plants and animals are extinct. In order to change this phenomenon, we human beings should take actions to stop destroying our environment. For me, I’m a middle school student. It is my responsibility to protect our environment. So please choose to be an environmental ambassador.
If I were an environmental ambassador, I would appeal people around me, including my classmates, friends and family members to protect environment. Besides, I would teach them some useful environmental protection knowledge.
If I were an ambassador，I would set myself an example to others. I can ask my friends and classmates to come to the park for one afternoon and pick up the litter.
Please choose me to be an environmental ambassador. Trust me, I’ll make a better and cleaner environment！
