　　Hello, boys and girls!

　　Pressure is a serious problem in today’s world. Students in our class are under too much pressure. Some students can’t get on well with their classmates, while others may worry about their exams.

　　I’m always under pressure, too. My parents want me to be the top student in class. So they send me to all kinds of training classes at weekends.

　　Last Monday evening, I had a talk with my mother. I told her I was not lazy. I really felt tired. I needed time to relax. My mother agreed with me at last. So I think a conversation with parents is necessary to solve the problem.

　　As a kid I always wanted to play the drums. When I was three years old my godmother gave me my first drum. It was a blue plastic remo drum that I love and I still have. It has white stripes that go vertically and it has two black remo pin strip drum heads. Drumheads are the surface, which you strike with a drumstick to produce a sound. The drum came with a pair of cheap plastic remo brand drumsticks. That I hardly use became if I do, I would probably break the drumsticks.

　　One day when I was in sixth grade I came home on my birthday, and when I opened the door I saw a medium size brown box that said pearl on the side. As I swathe box that said pearl I jus started to jump around and my mom jus said, “happy birthday.” That was the happiest day of my life.

　　Finally, I got a real drum and real drumsticks. My brother bought me the pro-mark 2B drumsticks, which are my favorite drumsticks. When I opened the box I saw the most beautiful thing, a silver snare drum. The snare drum came with a black squared case that says, “pearl”, on both sides.

　　One night, the weather was clear and the stars were shining like people's eyes. I went to yongning park with my father and my mother, and as soon as I got to the park, I saw a lot of people. Some were walking, some were flying kites, others were sitting on the bridge and looking at the stars.

　　After a while music started to ring, and people spontaneously walked to the clearing on the edge of the river and began to do exercises. With the music rhythm, the body was beating like a spring. We stood by and watched and jumped, sometimes with arms spread like small butterflies, sometimes clapping at the front of the hands, and it was great fun. This is the first time I've seen so many people dancing, so I'm excited to be back home until the end.

　　I recently started a new job， in a small office， where four of us share a fridge。 In that fridge is a Brita water filter pitcher。 One of my coworkers plained the water tasted "dirty"。 It went on for a few days， and she was stunned I could drink the water without any trouble。 I started to doubt my taste buds， but the water really tasted fine。

　　I can't help but think about the world we live in。 Too often we quickly blame other people， other things， anything else but ourselves。 "You're racist"。 "You're intolerant"。 "You're the problem"。 The world isn't perfect， I know， but I think we should take a step back sometimes and ask ourselves some tough questions。
