英文读书笔记应该如何写

　　It was a wonderful experience that I received an English novel named ‘Gulliver's Travels’ at the beginning of this semester and managed to read it over during these days. Taking a first sight at the title, I once thought it was only a fairy tale for kids but not suitable for a college student as old as me. While things turned to be wrong when the whole reading was over.

　　The novel, which was written by the Irish writer Jonathan Swift, mainly tells an adventurous voyage Gulliver made. Gulliver, a surgery, accidentally took his steps on the mysterious way. In the ‘travel’ he got involved in the dwarfs’ country, giants’ country, flying country, and some other unique countries. Sometimes he was a toy in the giant’s hand, while several months later he still feels hungry after eaten scores of cows in the dwarf’s. when I was reading the story, the magical experiences of Gulliver seemed to have happened on my flesh. I could feel his excitement and also scare when he met those strange things. Especially the battle he joined between two dwarf countries. Gulliver himself rolled up hundreds of battle cruisers owned by the enemy. He was the hero. But in the giants’ country he must even fight with mosquitoes and bees for survival. I think that may imply a meaning that one cannot always be strong enough for everything. The writer’s purpose was to give a critical comment at the corrupt and miserable British society, and the people who thought them strong enough to defeat everyone else.

　　Gulliver had also been to a country named ‘Huuyin’, where people there never tell lies. The kind and warm hearted emperor there didn’t know the word ‘cheat’ or ‘lie’. They didn’t think of suspecting and distrusting at all. Everything is pure and true in the small country. I am sorry for not having been born in such a world. Last week I just lost my bike, which has been with me for only a month. So sad was i that I envy at Gulliver’s fortune to have a chance to that ideal world. You never have to analyze the certain words people say, never care much about your bike outside when you are in the dormitory…

　　But the real society, contains too much cheatings and laziness. People make their living by stealing bikes in their youth. Do they feel they can do some positive contributes to our world with their powerful strength?

　　The third thing I found was from the main character. Mr. Gulliver is a doctor himself, but he holds a strong mind to explore the unvisible parts of the world. He is brave to fight against the drowning reality and confront the humanity weaknesses. The follow for the dreamland and life controls him do so much voyages. In fact we can learn from him for a brave heart and love for life.

　　Finally I want to say that the novel was not only about a si-mp-le travel note, or a fairy tale. It showed the attitudes the writer take towards life and the society. It called up my mind to build a meaningful life and take the right angle of sight to the social realities. In my expectation, the world without cheating and lying will one day achieve to our earth. So I hope.
