New Year the Spring Festival is a very happy thing for me.
Issue early in the morning, mother will push me up, said today to grandpa and grandma happy New Year. I'm so happy a listen to, and hurriedly get up. After breakfast, put on new clothes, will ride together with mom and dad went to grandpa's house.
Grandpa's house in the countryside, the car in less than half an hour. I haven't go to grandpa, grandpa, grandma is waiting at the door. As soon as I see my grandpa, grandma, I happily cried: "grandpa, grandma, we come to give you a happy New Year!" Grandpa and grandma laughed cheerfully.
Into the grandpa and grandma, they bring me a lot of good things to eat, with fruit, candy, peanut, etc. I eat, grandpa asked me: "learning is good, is there any progress". When I heard that there has been a great improvement in my grades than before, when grandpa smiled happily, repeatedly praised me is both wise and sensible, and gave me a red envelope.
I happily accepted the red packets, even say thank you. But I know, I also has the very big disparity compared with other students, so, I secretly swear: in the New Year, must work harder to learn and improve their performance, narrow the gap with other classmates.
Ate lunch, we bid farewell to grandpa, grandma, go home by bus.

New Year‘s Day is one of important days for many people in the world during the year. Most people spend the New Year‘s Day in hotels. January 1st is considered as the New Year‘s Day. Most companies, shops, school, and government offices are closed during that time. People prepare for New Year‘s Day from late December. First, people spend a few days to clean their houses completely. Some families then put up some new painting from November to be sent in January. The New Year‘s meal is also prepared from the end of December. During the New Year‘s Day, people usually do not cook and relax at home. On New Year‘s Eve, it is common to have a bag dinner with family members or friends at home or in hotels and hear bells which informs us of the coming New Year. On New Year‘s Day, people greet each other. Some people wear new coats and visit temples to pray for happiness and health through out the New Year. Children are busy with getting the gifts from their parents and relatives.
