教学内容:
人教版新起点三年级上册Unit 4 pets
课时:
第一课时
教学重点:
1. Let students listen ,say read and write the following
words: pet, duck, rabbit, turtle, rabbit, chicken, snake, small, long
2. Let students using the following main
structures : What pet do you have? I have a dog.It's brown. What's its name? Its name is Coco.It has a short tail.It's smart to talk about the pets their have.
教学目标:
1.Can pronounce the new words well and correctly and
use them freely.
2. Can make the sentences by using some words they know
教学难点:
1.To grasp the new words.
2.Make some sentences and dialogues.
3.Using several sentences to describe one of the pet they have .
教学过程:
Step One Warming up
T:Play the video about animals
Look and say the chant .
T: What animals can you see in the chant ?
I can see a dog
I can see a tiger .
Step Two :Presentation
T: Today , we are going to talk about animals . They are very special .We can keep them at home .People call them pets.
Write the title of this lesson.
T:I have many pets .Guess what pet do I have ?
Together ask teacher :What pet do you have ?
T:I have a dog .
Write the sentences on the blackboard.
Teach the other new words with different ways ,eg :play the sounds of this animal , show a part of the picture of this animal, describe the animal favorite food .etc Read the words and sentences after teacher.
Play the tape of the chant .
Listen and say the chant after tape.
Guessing game : What’s missing ?
Pair work :Read the words and sentences to each other.
Pet Show
Take out the picture of the pet they have , and talk about their pets using the main sentences .
Invite several pairs to show their dialogue .
Andy has a pet too. Let’s go and have a look . Play the tape of the dialogue .
Give some questions about the dialogue.
1,What pet does Andy have ?
2,What colour is it ?
3,What is its name ?
4,Is it cute or smart ?
Listen and then answer the questions .
T: Look , I have a dog .It’s white .It’s cute.Its name is Diandian. Who want introduce your pet to us like this way ?
Invite some students talk about their pets using the main sentences .
Look at the pictures and write the words .
Step Three : Sum up
T:What did you learn today ?
Say the words and sentences together.
Enjoy the other animals pictures in the world.
Animals are our friend ,we should love them.
Give homework .
课后反思:
《英语新课程标准》中明确指出:小学英语教学目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣。小学生刚学英语时的确是充满好奇,兴趣浓厚的,但随着时间的推移,难度的增加,学生渐渐失去了刚开始的那股新鲜劲和热情,学习兴趣开始淡薄。但作为语言学习,单词是基础,要学好英语就必须掌握一定量的词汇。要解决这一矛盾,教师就要充分发挥自己的创造性,优化教学过程,讲究教学艺术,创设不同形式的活动来激发学生学习英语的热情,使他们每个人的学习才能得以充分发挥。本节课的新词呈现过程中,我用不同的.呈现方式,比如说猜谜法,描述法,播放动物的声音,遮盖法,直接呈现法等,在教授单词的过程中,我运用音标教学法,让学生在读的过程中尝试着去将所学单词通过他的读音来把它记住。学生的积极性比较高。不足之处在于,将本课的难点没有很好的突破,以至于学生在描述自己宠物的环节中显得有些困难。
