关于私家车的弊端The Disadvantages of Private Cars
As cars are more affordable nowadays, thenumber of private car owners spurs. With cars, we can go anywhere anytime wewant. However, for the sake of protecting our environmentand of the public travelling convenience, it is a bad news.
当今，由于很多人都能买得起车，所以拥有私家车的人数猛增。有了车，我们可以在任何时候到任何我们想去的地方。但是，对于保护环境和公众出行方便方面来说，这无疑是一个坏消息。
First, more private cars mean more pollution.As the number of private cars increases sharply, the off gas surges.Consequently, the air quality is decreasing and even affects our health. Inconsideration of our environment and our health, I don’t think private carsbring us good to both our planet’s environment and our health.
首先，私家车越多，就会产生越多的污染。由于私家车数量猛增，汽车尾气排放量也随之骤增。结果，空气质量越来越差，甚至影响到我们的身体健康。考虑到保护环境以及为了我们的身体健康，我认为私家车不会对我们的地球环境和我们的身体健康产生有利的影响。
Second, people are tending to drive carsthemselves going to work so that the traffic jam is serious in most cities. Wheneveryou go and look around in cities, you can see lots of cars not only parking alongthe road but also runs on the street. Especially around morning and evening,you can hardly move a step if you drive a car because of the heavy traffic. Nomatter how many roads the government has built, without lessening the number ofthe private cars, the need for road is always bigger than the supplied.Therefore, the most effective way is to encourage people take public transportationso that we can facilitate ourselves and also others.
其次，人们倾向于开私家车去上班，这导致了大多数城市交通拥堵。不管任何时候，只要你到城市逛一圈，就会发现不仅路边停了很多车，而且路上也有大量的车流量。特别是在早上和傍晚的时候，如果你驾车出行的话，由于交通非常拥挤，你开车寸步难行。如果不减少私家车数量的话，不管政府建设多少条道路，总是不能缓解交通拥堵现象。所以，最有效的方式就是鼓励人们乘坐公共交通方式出行，这样的话不仅能够方便我们自己，也能方便他人。
All in all, private cars are so convenientfor us to getting around. However, take our air environment, our health and theconvenience of public life into account; we shouldn’t encourage people to buymore private cars. Instead, we should persuade people to take public transportationas often as possible to make our environment better and better.
总之，私家车是能够为我们出行提供便利。但是，考虑到我们的环境，我们的身体健康以及公众生活的便利，我们不提倡人们买更多的私家车。相反，我们应该鼓励人们尽可能多的乘坐公共交通方式出行，以此来使我们的环境更加好。
车祸的危害The Hazard of Car Accident
On December 1st, 2013, a very famous American male actor, Paul Walker, died of car accident, since the news came out, many fans can’t accept it, it just like Paul Walker is still alive. The shaking news reminds people of the traffic rules, which the young people should take care of from their hearts. Since car accident takes away so many people’s lives, they should obey the traffic rules.
2013年12月1号，美国一位非常著名的男演员，保罗沃克死于车祸，消息一出，很多影迷无法接受，就如保罗沃克仍然在世一样。这个爆炸性的消息提醒人们遵守交通，年轻人应该从心里注意。车祸已经夺走了很多人的生命，他们应该遵守交通规则。
Car accident is one of the main killers in the modern society, because the economy develops, more and more people have cars, at the same time, traffic jams become serious. Not everyone obeys the rule, especially the young generation, they chase for exciting life, they like to speed up in the highway. There are many news about the young drive carelessly in the highway at night, they ignore the traffic rules. In such circumstance, car accident takes their lives away, that is horrible things. We should cherish our lives, when we drive car, never drink beer and talk to other, focus on the driving.
车祸是现代社会的主要杀手之一，因为经济的发展，越来越多的人拥有车，同时，交通堵塞也严重化。并不是每个人都遵守规则，特别是年轻一代，他们追求刺激的生活，喜欢在高速公路加速。很多新闻报道年轻人晚上在高速公路粗心驾驶，他们忽视交通规则。在这样的情况下，车祸夺走了他们的生命，这是多么可怕的事情啊。我们应该珍惜生命，当开车时，不要喝酒和和人交谈，专注于开车。
We often hear about the news that the famous star died of car accident, these teach us a lesson, if we are not care about the traffic rule, we will lose our lives, just drive safe.
我们经常听到新闻关于著名明星死于车祸，这些给我们上了一课，如果我们不在意交通规则，就会失去生命，注意安全驾驶。
世界森林日The World Forest Day
In 1971, the Spanish naturalists suggested that we should set up a day to call on people to protect the forest and make the full use of it. Then the representatives of the naturalists from all over the world decided that March 21 is the world forest day. In some countries, this day is also deemed as the tree-planting day. After 4 decades, the world forest day is more than a day to call on people to protect the forest, making people realize the relations between human being and the forest is also the aim of the forest day.
在1971年，西班牙的自然学家提出人们应该设立一个节日来号召民众保护森林，并尽其所用。然后来自世界各地的自然学家的代表们决定把每年的3月21日定为世界森林日。在某些国家，这一天也被认定为是植树节。40年过去了，世界森林日也不仅仅是号召大家保护森林的节日，它也是帮助人们意识到人类与森林关系的节日。
It’s generally accepted that the forest has the functions of cooling off the global temperature, refreshing the air, preserving soil and water, protecting the nature links and so on. The forest is also the key to solve the severe environmental problems. In American Indian’s cultural, the local people believe that the forest raise up the sky. If the forest disappears, the sky will collapse, and the living beings would die out. With the rapid development of human society, the forest coverage rate is decrease. While the demands of the woods and papers products keep increasing. It can hardly meet the needs of human beings. Everyday, countless trees are cutting down to make various paper products. In order to make more money, people destroy the forests, and there comes different kinds of problems. For instance, soil erosion, global warming, glaciers melting, and sea level rising. The forest is so important to this planet. We should do something to protect the forest.
人们普遍认为森林具有降温、净化空气、保护水土和维持自然链等功能。森林也是解决严峻环境问题的关键。在美洲的印第安人文化中，当地人认为树木撑起了天空，如果森林消失，那么天空就会塌陷，世界上的生物就会随之灭亡。随着人类社会的快速发展，森林覆盖率在逐渐下降。而人们对木材及纸制品的需求量日益增长，所砍伐的树木难以满足人们的需求。每一天，不计其数的树木被做成各种各样的纸制品。为了赚更多的钱，人们摧毁了森林，然而问题也随之而来。例如：水土流失、气候变暖、冰川融化、海平面上升等等。森林对我们的地球来说如此的重要，我们应该好好保护它。
First, stop cutting down the forest blindly. If we really have to, plant more trees. Second, the government should do something to enhance the people’s awareness of forest protection. Last but not least, we can reduce the use of paper, such as avoid using disposable paper goods. Protect the forest is to protect ourselves. Without the forest, we can not live on the earth either.
首先，我们要停止盲目的砍伐森林。如果不得不这样做，那就种植更多的树木。其次，政府宣传森林的重要性，以此提高普通民众保护森林的意识。最后，我们应该减少纸质用品，例如避免使用一次性的纸制品。保护森林就是保护我们自己。没有了森林，我们也不能存活在地球之上。
生活节奏 Pace of Life
Looking around, you will find interestingdifference between people’s pace of life. Some are always in a hurry and try toget everything done as soon as possible, while some other people always taketheir time and lead their life in a slow pace. What do you think is better? Inmy opinion, different life paces reflect various life concepts and both typeshave advantages and disadvantages.
环顾四周，你会发现人们的生活节奏之间存在着一些有趣的差异。有些人总是匆匆忙忙并设法用最短的时间完成所有的事情，而另一些人总是慢悠悠地生活。哪种生活比较好呢？在我看来，生活节奏的.差异只是反映了不同的生活理念，而每一种生活节奏都有其优点和缺点。
One the one hand, people living a fast pacelife are easier to get success. The people who are got used to in a hurry allthe time will have more time to do the things that they want. And most of themare active. They have more opportunity to enjoy the happiness of success.However, they also lose something when they are hurry to pursue success. Theyforget to stop to enjoy life itself or treasure the beautiful scenery in theirlife. As a result, those people always have lots of success, but lack of love.
一方面，生活在快节奏的人更容易取得成功。那些习惯了总是匆匆忙忙的人会有更多的时间做他们想做的事。而且他们大部分都是很积极的。他们有更多的机会享受到成功的喜悦。然而，在他们急于追求成功的同时，他们也失去了一些东西。他们忘了停下来享受生活本身或珍惜他们生命中美丽的风景。结果，那一类人总是获得很多的成功，却缺乏爱。
On the other hand, people who living a slowpace always can enjoy their life and be happy. The slow coaches always are moretolerant to themselves and others. They would have less stress for themselves,which may bring better mental and physical health. If they don’t pushthemselves to finish task, they will have more time to enjoy the beautifulscenery around their life and taste life. But, this kind of people will haveless chance to be successful, because they don’t put their mind on it.
另一方面，那些生活节奏缓慢的人们总是可以享受生活并且很快乐。性子慢总是对自己和别人都比较宽容。他们会给自己更少的压力，这可能会会让他们的身心都更健康。如果他们不强迫自己完成的任务，他们将有更多的时间去欣赏周围美丽的景色、品味人生。但是，这种类型的人成功的机会比较小，因为他们不把心思放在那上面。
To sum up, the pace of life just is people’schoice. It is their life concept. There is nothing good or bad. But as for me,I may prefer a slower pace of life. It is just personal hobby.
总之，生活的节奏是人们自己的选择。是他们的生活理念。没有什么好与不好的。对我来说，我比较喜欢慢节奏的生活。这纯粹个人爱好。
婚姻的关键是爱 Love is the Key Element to Marriage
Many people almost cry their eyes out when watching some soap playsthrobbed with love themes。Love is the key element that leads a couple before the sacred altarof the church。
许多人在看与爱有关的肥皂剧时会哭得稀里哗啦的.因为爱是人们走向教堂圣殿的关键因素。
However, in the past, many people got married without their ownconsent in China. Their marriage was arranged. Tow persons, a man and a woman,who were entirely strangers, were united in wedlock and became husband andwife. They had known nothing of each other before, and of course, love was asealed book to both of them. This type of marriage often led to unhappiness. Tragicstories of ill-matched were common enough.
然而，在过去，中国的许多人赞同包办婚姻。他们的婚姻都是被安排的。两个人，一男一女，他们完全是陌生人，他们被安排结婚，然后就成为了丈夫和妻子。他们之前是完全不了解对方的，当然，爱对他们来说完全就是天书.这类型的婚姻往往都是不幸福的。这种病态的撮合已经造成了够多的悲剧故事了。
Nowadays, it is held by many people that one should not marrywithout love. A man and a woman may freely make friends with each other. Theydo not talk of marriage until their friendship has ripened into love. In their marriage,they may take other things into consideration, but they regard love as the mostimportant thing. This type of marriage usually brings happiness.
现在，许多人都认为不应该结没有爱的婚姻。一个男人和女人应该按照自己意愿成为朋友。他们不讨论婚姻，直到他们的友情发展成爱情。在他们的婚姻中，他们也会要考虑其他因素，但是他们还是会把爱当成最重要的因素。这类型的婚姻往往都是幸福的。
Moreover, love may be a temporary passion, and those who are in loveare often blind to other things, so that what we call love matches do notalways result in happiness. Therefore, while love is required before a marriageis arranged, it is not the only thing required.
再者，爱有可能是一种暂时的激情，爱人们通常会在这期间非常盲目，所以因爱结合的人也未必是幸福结局的。因此，有爱的婚姻总是比包办婚姻好的，但爱也不是唯一的因素。
汽车与年轻人 Cars & the Youth
It has been widely reported that theeconomic recession has hobbled young people in debt and joblessness, making themless likely to buy some of the staples of adulthood, including cars. It becomesa big problem to car company, they may have tried to hook in young drivers,like most consumer companies, they like to appeal to young people early on, butlearned it was not working.
早就有报道称，经济萧条让年轻人负债累累，找不到工作，让他们不太可能买包括汽车在内的成年人专属用品。这成了汽车公司的大问题，他们努力地想抓住年轻车主，像许多消费品公司一样，他们也喜欢设法尽早吸引年轻人，结果都无济于事。
Several reasons can account for thisphenomenon. In the first place, cars have become less affordable forcash-strapped young adults, and driving simple does not seem as cool as it oncewas. For a young adult who just coming out of college, it is almost impossibleto buy a car by themselves within 3 years. Besides, many young adults arewilling to live in the place where is nearby their work place with publictransportation, according to the survey, and some of them are able to catch aride with others.
一些原因能够解释这一现象。第一，汽车对囊中羞涩的年轻人来说略显昂贵，还有因为开车已经不像以前那么酷了。对于刚出大学的年轻人来说，他们在3年内自己买车几乎是不可能的。除此之外，许多年轻人都愿意搬到离他们工作场所近的，有公共交通的地方住，还有些人愿意通过拼车的方式解决交通问题。
In the second place, young adults are toobusy to get a driver’s license. Most young people have to spend all day longfor their job, and even work overtime. They have to fend themselves, because ofit; they don’t have the bandwidth to take on anything else. What is more, lotsof young adults think that the internet may have also made driving more of ahassle than a convenience. Why drive to shopping centers when you can ordervirtually anything online?
第二，年轻人太忙根本没时间考驾照。很多年轻人得工作一整天，有时候还得加班。他们得养活自己，因为这样，他们没有多余的精力去干其他的事情。此外，许多年轻人认为网络让开车变成了负担而不是便利，能够在网上买东西干嘛还要开车去购物中心呢？
In conclusion, it has become a fact thatyoung adults have less interested in cars, however, it may be a good thing forair pollution and crude oil crisis.
总之，年轻人对买车的兴趣低已经成为了事实，然而，这对大气污染和原油危机是件好事。
