漫画里面的大概内容是这样的：一个女同学和一个男同学走在放学的路上，突然看到路边的.一个垃圾桶旁堆了许多垃圾，还散发者一阵阵难闻的恶臭。女同学提议说要把垃圾捡回垃圾桶里，而男同学望着女同学的书包，突然灵机一动，便从自己的书包里取出笔和纸，用笔在纸上端端正正地写上：文明只差一步。女同学则把垃圾桶外的垃圾一件一件地捡回垃圾桶里。最后，他们一起把写有“文明只差一步”的纸贴在了垃圾桶上。
