I recently picked up the spirit of "the red" again and read it. I watched a morning, finally in each sentence is force on the basis of poor understand after reading it. 就我以为，说于连是个个人主义野心家固然不错，但不如说他是个追求幸福而又不幸走上歧途的人更为确切些。自然这种歧途不是简单地采取了某种有背社会道德的手段，而是来自他心灵深处的本质所发挥出来的。
他的平民出身，较高的文化，工作是家庭教师，与女主人发生恋情，事情暴露，枪杀恋人，被判死刑，是他一生的骨架，“追求”幸福的“热情”和“毅力”，对阶级差异的反抗所表现出近乎英雄的气概就是动人的血肉。这是对那个社会的反抗，也是对碌碌无为，虚度青春的反抗。年轻有为的青年于连表面上看是被毁于病态的爱情，实际上是被毁于当时病态的法国社会。这正是很好的揭露了当时法国旧社会的黑暗。
我认为红色象征于连的追求人生意义，而黑色就代表社会中形形色色为了自己的利益而拼命奔波，却不理解自己存在真正意义的人们吧!
很多人认为于连是个自私自利的人，其实这是错误的。作者并没有批评和讽刺他，对于他的更多的是一种深深的同情和无奈。这更是《红与黑》经久不衰的原因!

“红”与“黑”到底是什么意思，我陷入迷茫。也许，这本书对我一个中学生来说，书中的思想与内涵有点深奥。
“红”是什么?“黑”又是什么?我问爸爸，爸爸也不确定，爸爸只是告诉我一些参考的建议。红也许代表着当时先进的资产阶级自由思想，黑也许说的是落后的教会贵族的利益。也有下面一种说法：红与黑是连在一起解释的，说的是于连的低微的出身和他想挤入上层社会的矛盾。
我了解了这些解释之后，我还是不太明白。我真的不知道这三个字代表了什么，或许什么都不是呢，或许是作者的一时兴致想到的胡乱的短语，这些全都无可揣摩，无可知的。但有一点，红不是黑，黑也不是红，红和黑都坚信自己的优秀。
读了《红与黑》，我还是不明白红与黑的的含义。
