Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. By tradition，Halloween begins after sunset. Long ago，people believed that witches gathered together and ghosts roamed the world on Halloween. Today，most people no longer believe in ghosts and witches. But these supernatural beings are still a part of Halloween.
The colors black and orange are also a part of Halloween. Black is a symbol for night and orange is the color of pumpkins. A jack-o'-lantern is a hollowed-out pumpkin with a face carved on one side. Candles are usually placed inside，giving the face a spooky glow.

今天下午，我上完英语课后，我听到HAPPY老师说：“今天晚上有个叫“万圣节英语沙龙”活动，想参加的小朋友可以来我这里报。”
我吃完晚饭就来到了新东方的十二教室，参加活动。
活动开始了，JINI老师和我们一起玩了两个游戏。首先玩的游戏叫“你问我答”，JINI老师用英语问问题，让我们用英语回答她提的问题，答出来题的人，奖励一块糖，答不出来的人呢？罚做大象鼻子转十圈！我答对了三个题，得到了三块糖。
第二个游戏叫“英语大冲关”，这个游戏必须分成A组和B组两个大组，每组有一个组名（就是小组的`名字），我给小组起的名是——小女巫组。这个游戏是每个组请出一位挑战者，然后石头剪刀布，谁赢了，谁就会成为最后的胜利者。最后的冲关是这样的：先是你要人一些卡片，如果你都会认，那接下来接难了，要你学大象鼻子转世一圈，然后绕过障碍五到一个水盆旁，用嘴去咬盆里的苹果，要是你咬到了就奖励一块糖，要是没有咬到就会为另一组加一分。经过大家的努力，我们组最后取得了胜利。
这真是一次别有意义的英语沙龙啊！

昨天，我的英语班开了一次聚会，我邀请了尹菲和我放学一起去参加。
我们刚去到哪儿，看到那里有一堆各式各样的面具，有紫色的，有橙色的，有粉色的，有白色的.……我们选 了自己喜欢的面具，英语老师就给我们戴上了，然后，我们就进了大教室。那里装饰得很配万圣节，老师们用纸做了大蜘蛛、蝙蝠和蜘蛛网挂在灯上。还买了几只玩具蜘蛛挂在墙上，还做了一些蜘蛛网挂在墙上。她们还买了一些很小的南瓜灯放在角落和比较暗的地方，因为那时候没开灯。
老师们为了让我们觉得更恐怖，还放了一些恐怖的歌给我们听。后来人都来齐了，老师就拿出来了一个坛子，上面有很多动物。我们就玩了一个游戏，游戏规则是，选两个人，老师说到什么动物，你就得踩到那个动物上面，谁踩到的动物最多谁就赢了。而且，每赢一局就可以得一颗糖果。老师还教了我们“不给糖就捣蛋”用英语怎么说。
玩了游戏，老师又带着我们去做南瓜灯，因为南瓜里面的灯不够，所以我们只做了一个橙色的南瓜。做完南瓜灯我们又去用亮粉画画，我画的是一些不一样的糖果……
今天玩得真开心!希望英语班能多组织一些好玩的活动!
