ThanksgivingDay is one of the most important festivals in America. It’s most closelyconnected to the earliest history of the country. The dinner of ThanksgivingDay is totally a feast, because it’s a day to celebrate and give thanks to the blessingof harvest. A roast turkey is essential. It is usually stuffed with bread andvegetable to absorb the tasty juices. Of course, turkey is the traditional maincourse. There are many other delicious dishes to celebrate this festival, suchas sweet potato and pumpkin pie. This is the most important meal in a year forthe Americans, so it’s a time for family gathering.
感恩节是美国最重要的一个节日子之一，这与美国早起的历史有关。感恩节晚宴是很丰盛的，因为这一天是专门庆祝丰收的。在晚宴上，烤火鸡是必备的'菜肴，火鸡通常被塞入面包蔬菜等吸收美味的酱料。当然，火鸡是传统主食，也会有许多其他美味的食物，例如甜山芋和南瓜饼。这是美国人一年中最重要的一餐，因而这也是家人团聚的日子。
