Qingdao，a key seaside city，is located in the southeast part of the Shandong Province with 870 kilometers coastline. It has a mild temperate climate， with four distinct（clear-cut）seasons. That is the reason why it becomes a well known summer and health resort. As one of the places of interests in China，those cultural heritage and eye-catching scenery spread along the city coast， attract tourists from all over the world. With the rapid economic development of the society， more and more people in Qingdao get involved in sports，which makes it a host city for several events of the 2008 Olympics.
青岛是一个重要的海滨城市，位于山东省东南部，有870公里的海岸线。它有一个温和的气候，有四个不同的（明确的）季节。这就是为什么它会成为一个众所周知的夏天和健康的度假胜地。作为中国利益的一个地方，这些文化遗产和引人注目的风景散布在城市海岸，吸引来自世界各地的'游客。随着社会经济的快速发展，越来越多的青岛人参与到体育运动中来，这使得它成为2008届奥运会的主办城市。
