How wonderful the little prince is! This is a book that can be read aloud by my mother as a child... It is a book that allows people of all ages to reexperience the beauty of innocence and to be moved by the beauty of innocence. Read this book, you can let people of different ages get their own understanding.

The little prince was beautiful and lovely. A blonde hair, a light weight, a sword in one hand, a hand in the waist, and a cloak of stars, especially handsome and handsome. He lives on a very small planet with active volcanoes, extinct volcanoes, baobabs and a rose. The little prince loved the flower, but didn't know how to love it. So one day he left the planet to visit a few nearby asteroids, and saw the king, the vain man, the merchant, the lamplighter... Then, on earth, there was a snake, a mountain, a rose garden, a fox... The experience made him understand something, but he still didn't understand many of the adults who met. Then he saw the pilot in the desert who was forced into the desert by an airplane crash. They became good friends, drew together, and found a well. The little prince found himself still deeply in love with his rose, and he decided to go back. Give your laughter as a gift to the pilot who loves him.

Reading this book, I will always remember the little prince's crystal heart and the things he had met and the problems he had. Through the confusion of the little prince, he realized that everyone and everything had a small planet, and they would follow their own path. Everyone is an independent body, and there is a feeling of loneliness, and "domestication" makes everything different... The love of the little prince is noble and pure. I love the little prince and the little prince.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. the tales, which acpany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very plex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612.

The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overe with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before.

At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, bees his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

Over the course of this semester,I read a moving book:THE LITTLE PRINCE.It impressed me a lot, especially, the pure but deep emotion(love) between the characters such as the pilot and the little prince, the rose and the little prince, the fox and the little prince. The book remind me of the pure and nice emotion only found in childhood.

The main character our little prince live on a planet named B612 accompany with there volcanoes an a rose who falls in love with him but can not understand each other.Consequencely,he leave his planet and his endless travelling.During this period,he come across a diversity of people. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Then he enter earth and found thousands of roses alike. The little prince discovers that his rose is not the only ,plenty of her kind are everywhere, but then he realizes that his rose is special because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen . Then he fall across the fox.She

teaches the prince It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye

What impresses me the most is the fox’s words.love is a strange stuff.Sometimes we see it but can’t grasp it.Yet, true love may be, to some extent, invisible in surface but may last permanent.Apart from love, others as well.Indeed, sometimes what we consider right turn out to be wrong, what we consider real proves fictitious, what we confused may just turn out to be the truth. The path In searching for truth may long and time-consuming,we should harbour conviction,b will and high hope.No matter what barriade in front of us,we ought to be couragous and face up to the challenge.

This is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to The Bible. It’s been translated to versions of many other languages. And I gather there must be something special, something really great about it. It’s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. Well, with due respect to the author, I failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.

Anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. And it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. I will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.

This book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. The prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. Before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. The first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. The second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not. The third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. The fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. Next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. The last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. These six people each represented one kind of person like us. The authorsatirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.

I see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. People are supposed to care about each other, cherish what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. We all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. But we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. That why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”.

When I was a child, I was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without mom’s permission. And now I am a grown-up, and still I am a good man, at least, that’s what I heard. Sometimes when I was lonely and I began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free life came back to me as it were yesterday. Kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and I myself am a child no more. Thinking about all these things have made me moody. There’re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.

People told me life is a journey which will never stop once it’s started. What’s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. There’s good old time to reminisce and there’s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. Your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.

I want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. Our mortal beings are doomed to die. It’s not sad, instead, death it’s just a process of our lives. After all, we’ve lived our lives and it’s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.

Today, I finished reading < < the little prince > > the book is short of a fairy tale.Simple and plain language, and hidden behind the truth and wisdom are so profound. The little prince, that never answer other people's problems, ask questions without the answer would continue to be asked the little prince, the boy has a gold hair, with an innocent smile of the little prince, that come from another planet, with a melancholy and clear pure eyes of the little prince, help us to understand our world and ourselves.

What to look at the world, with the theory of temporal power, money, and dogma, or use of pure childlike innocence and goodness of human nature, the little prince tells us the answer. Our busy day and night, we pursue fame and wealth, as we are in a hurry, we care about gain and loss, but we have more and more lonely, more and more lonely, like the article to the wind blow them away, they have no root, live very hard."We become like children, easy happy, satisfied, we use the desire to bury his childhood imagination and pure heart.

The story of the little prince, is sad, a pain of love. Love was serious and sincere, cut bone pain and unbearable.

The little prince's love, pure and elegant, sincere seriously. If the dead could make him back to his own the stars, if death can let him meet with the person I love, he will choose to die, threw because he is deeply in love with her, because his heart was tamed by rose. He did the same, he gently down, and as he came to earth is unknown.

Thoreau said, people live a life of quiet desperation, he is far away from the crowd, the sun go down to find the root of all decadent, nothing, this is a dusty heaven. Fortunately our hearts there is a story of the little prince, sad but beautiful, little prince sorrow for the pure love; Good, because of love to give a person touched and hope.

Because the story of the little prince, when we are in a quiet life, in the heart has a hope and tenderness, have touched and about domestic responsibilities.

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery contains a fairy tale which concludes plentiful first thing we can learn from the book is the innocence of childhood and ough disappointed by what his roses said, the little prince still loved the weiter's opinion ,the roses stand for the pure love.

As the prince growed up,he made a decision to explore other planets and leave his hometown,a planet which just one person lived travelling in the other planets,he discovered that his rose is not the only one of its e are abandunt kinds of roses in the garden, but he still held the opinoion that his rose is special "because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen" .

When he came to the earth ,another significant character ,the fox , teached the little prince to take his own responsibility bravely . What's more ,the fox is also the little prince's best friend and help with his understanding of the meaning of friendship.

All the story is told by a piolet ,who is another hero in the tale and met the little prince in the Sahara the end of the story ,the little prince died on the Earth with the piolet.

The writer made the story from the child's ally, what the prince said is what the writer wanted to theme of the story is to criticize the human beings' a alien, the little prince could see the human beings' disadvantages clearly. In my opinion ,The Little Prince is more than a funny book written for the is a kind of profound reflection of yone finishing reading the book can form his thought in his mind. Therefore,I'm sure it is worthwhile to spend some time reading the book calmly.

"It's like a flower. If you fall in love with a flower growing on a star, then at night you feel sweet and happy when you look at the sky, and all the stars are like flowers."

The first time I read the little prince, in high school, was immediately attracted by his fresh writing style and the simple world. Six years later, at the moment, read the "Little Prince", can not help but again and again to tears, and palpitation for Prince's mind be sad, moved by his pure and persistent love, for his innocence and mourning gradually to disappear. As the author of St. Erik Marcus Paley said in the preface, he put the fairy tale "to Leon? Wirth, when he was a boy"

I didn't know this book was very famous in the West. It was a book that my adult and children liked to read. No wonder my mother would give it to me. I read it later. The little prince lived on a planet that was very small, and watered every day his roses. Then the little prince traveled away from the planet and saw a lot of strange monsters on the planet until he came to earth and saw a pilot who had broken a plane in the desert. The little prince had a deep friendship with the pilot, but he missed his roses very much. In order to leave the earth, the little prince was bitten by a venomous snake, and then the pilot never saw him again.

At the beginning of the book, the irony of the unimaginative people, "these adults never actively understand anything; and for our children, always explain to them again and again......" "So I wouldn't talk to him about pythons, primeval forests, or stars. I only talk about things they can understand, such as bridge, golf, politics, ties, etc.. In this way, this person will be very happy, one met a reasonable and considerate person." And the children said to adults, "I saw a beautiful house, which was made of rose bricks, a window with a geranium, and a pigeon on the roof."." They have to be able to imagine what the house looks like, and you have to say, "I saw a house worth twenty thousand dollars."." They have to say, "that house is sure to be beautiful." Saint Exupery is perhaps in adults alone, then through the little prince's eyes to find adults much ado about nothing, to share the wealth, money and power in order to forget the knowledge of the true value of his life really need to lose their most valuable innocence and innocence, lost their imagination and beauty.

From the little prince's words, we can see that everything has its surface and authenticity. In many cases, we only see the superficial things, but ignore the inherent benefits. The little prince remembered the fox's words: "only the mind can see the essence of things; what is really important is invisible to the naked eye."". So he said, "just because there is a flower that we can't see, the stars look so beautiful."." "The desert is beautiful, because somewhere in the desert there is a well hidden."." Ah, the little prince's heart is very rich. A lot of things are mysterious because we can't see them with our naked eyes. In fact, these are so simple, just need a heart full of love.

Once when I was six years old, I saw a magnificent picture in a book, called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.

In the book it said:" Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."

I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drowing,My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:

I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.

But they answered:"Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?"

My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

The grown-ups response, this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors, whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. That is why, at the age of six, I gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. I had been disheartened by the failure of my Drawing Number One and my Drawing Number Two. Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it si tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.

So then I chose another profession, and learned to pilot airplanes.

I have flown a little over all parts of the world:and it is ture that geography has been very useful to me. At a glance I can distinguish China from Arizona. If one gets lost in the night, such knowledge is valuable.

In the course of this life I have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence. I have lived a great deal among grown-ups. I have seen them intimately, close at hand. And hasn't much improved my opinion of them.

Whenever Imet one of them who seemed to me at all clearsighted, I tried the experiment of showing him my Drowing Number One. which I have always kept. I would try to find out, so, if this was a person of true understanding. But, whoever it was, he ,or she, would always say:

  "That is a hat."

Then I would never talkto that people about boa constrictors, or primeval forest, or stars. I would bring myself down to his level. I would talk to him about bridge, and golf, and politics, and neckties. And the grown-ups would be greatly pleased to have met such a sensible man.

The Little Prince, the iconic 1943 classic written by the French aviator and writer, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, tells a story happened in the Desert of Sahara, about a stranded pilot who befriended a young golden-haired prince, fallen from the skies and constantly questioning the incongruities of human life.

The protagonist in this book, an extraordinary and mysterious little prince, lived on a small planet known as Asteroid B-612, which was comprised of three volcanoes, two active and the other extinct, and a rose with astonishing beauty. The flower was rarely found and charming beyond measure, but she was also vain and self-centred, which made the little prince leave his planet because of his inability to confront her. During his journey, the little prince visited several planets, and had conversations with their inhabitants, including a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer, from whom he found, in bewilderment, how unreasonable and meaningless the world of grown-ups is. Finally, he arrived at the earth, where he was thunderstruck by a heart-breaking fact that his flower was not the only one of her kind in the universe. At that moment appeared a fox, asking the little prince to “tame” him; then he did so. Before the little prince’s departure, the fox convinced him of the uniqueness of the rose to him and the essence of love and responsibility for one another. At the end of the story, on the one-year anniversary of the little prince’s descent to the earth, the pilot walked sadly with his friend to the place where he landed. He saw a yellow poisonous snake bit the little prince, who fell noiselessly to the sand and was presumed to have returned to his planet because no body was found the next day.

Some people believe that The Little Prince is a fairy-tale, for the sentences in it are simple and natural, flow with a poetic grace, which make the whole story easy to read and understand, while others consider it as a fable because of its abundant symbols and metaphors in the ostensibly simple plot. I’d like to venture my opinion that there’s no need to put the book into any certain category because it is of no consequence to do so. Actually, the expression “matters of consequence” has some satirical meaning in this novel, just as what Saint-Exupéry said in the book:

“If you were to say to the grown-ups: ‘I saw a beautiful house made of rose brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof,’ they would not be able to get any idea of that house at all. You would have to say to them: ‘I saw a house that cost $20,000.’ Then they would exclaim: ‘Oh, what a pretty house that is!’”

Grown-ups are always like that. No wonder Saint-Exupéry always wanted to be a child. In the opening of this well-illustrated book, he scoffed at adults’ lack of imagination by showing the readers two interesting pictures: the drawings of a boa constrictor eating an elephant from the outside, regarded as a hat by the adults, and the inside. As a concession to grown-ups who only care about dull and pragmatic matters, and view the world in a quantitative way, the narrator gave up painting, and lived a lonely life as a result of his atypical outlook on life. By saying so, I don’t mean that people should behave childishly on purpose to demonstrate their purity and innocence. Even Saint-Exupéry himself had done big things as all grown-ups do: flew everything from cartography missions to commercial airlines, rescued doomed pilots in the desert, pioneered the mail route from France to South America – the things that bring money, fame and prestige, and all basic necessities of life. I also noticed that Saint-Exupéry mentioned several times in his story that drawing was very difficult for him when grown up because he abandoned it early at the age of six. But I am sure that somewhere, deep inside, he retained a pure and innocent heart. As you can see, he had also done many little things that all little ones do: sketched pictures, comprehended simple things like love and sorrow, like the subtle truths told by the fox to the little prince. Therefore, we can guess that his decision to illustrate his story also lead to his return to the lost innocence as a child.

In my view, Saint-Exupéry is a man with a sensible mind as well as a childlike heart, and maybe that’s why The Little Prince has become perhaps the most widely read book after Bible. Although it was written for children, it strikes a chord with adults for its profoundly philosophical undertones.

Sometimes, I would even have the illusion that Saint-Exupéry was always a child. In his heart, and in his readers’ souls, he was exactly the little prince himself, who refused to grow up and would never grow up. In the year 1944, on a flight mission during World War II, the eccentric aviator flew his plane from Corsica and disappeared forever, which became one of the most mysterious legends in the history of French literature.

In the following 50 years, all the readers of The Little Prince hold the conviction that Saint-Exupéry has returned to his own star. And in the evening, when you look up into the sky, you’ll see five hundred million little laughing bells, on one of which the little prince shall be living, and it is because of him that all the stars become meaningful.

The Little Prince is a tale for both children and adults. The Little Prince is the story of a man who crashes his airplane into the desert only to meet a traveling boy from a small planet. The boy inquires about trees and sheep, shares his journeys and various encounters, and then leaves. Yet, reading between the lines, the story offers a much more complex, eiching, satisfying and eye-opening moral: what matters in life is love - and caring about someone or something and maintaining that relationship. The prince loves his rose enough to care for it every night by protecting it with a glass globe and requesting a muzzle for his sheep. He knows that the rose is naive with only four purposeless thorns and, out of his loyalty to her, it is his duty to protect her. Likewise, the narrator loves the prince and feels an obligation to secure his safe journey home.

I read this book as a child and was infected with a sense of awe and a newfound respect for the written word and its power to touch, heal and change perception. For myself, it accomplished two things; it instilled in me a desire to one day become a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.

What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.

Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.

There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. “It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.” he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over.

One of the important characters is the rose. Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot. In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him. The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up’s world. The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.

Not long ago, I had just finished a relationship, still struggling with memories. Under the unintentional mention of others, I came up with the idea of reading again, and soon paid for it. This time, I read the feelings of the little prince, the rose and the fox.

The little prince loved the rose, but gradually lost patience in the willfulness of the rose, and began to be confused; The fox loves the little prince, but knows that he will never be able to keep him. The rose loves the little prince, but only at the last minute.

The fox and the rose symbolize two kinds of women. The fox is gentle and considerate, and is very patient with the little prince who is in confusion. Unfortunately, the fox was domesticated by the little prince, and the little prince had been domesticated by the rose, which was doomed to be a tragedy. In the end the little prince left the fox and left her with only the wheat. The rose was capricious and beautiful, and she longed for the love from the little prince, but she was not willing to show her feelings to the little prince, under the suboration of the sensitive vanity.

It was only when the little prince was leaving that she finally revealed her true feelings. Before she left, she asked the little prince to forgive him, and sincerely wished him the happiness of his own. But her vanity, and her pride, did not allow her to do so. Emotion is a process of mutual domestication. It takes time, effort, and openness.

The vast sea of people, therefore, only allowed two people to embrace each other in the purple. I can only say that this sentiment was a bit late for me.
