幽默英语故事：Dog math

　　A farmer is wondering how many sheep he has in his field, so he asks his sheepdog to count them. The dog runs into the field, counts them, and then runs back to his master.

　　一个农民想知道他的领地内有多少只羊，于是让他的牧羊犬去数一数。于是这只狗跑到草地上，数了数，然后跑回到主人身边。

　　"So," says the farmer. "How many sheep were there?"

　　“那么，”主人问道，“有多少只呢？”

　　"40," replies the dog.

　　“40只。”狗回答道。

　　"How can there be 40?" exclaims the farmer. "I only bought 38!"

　　“怎么会有40只？”农民很惊讶。“我只买了38只！”

　　"I know," says the dog. "But I rounded them up."

　　“我知道，”狗说，“但我四舍五入了一下。”
