那是一个阳光明媚的上午，我和妈妈去台东逛街,偶然看见在台东邮电局附近静静地停着一辆献血大巴车，上面写着几个大字：您的一滴血会拯救许多人，并且上面还画了一滴鲜血的卡通人物，它正开心的向我笑呢!
见此情景，妈妈突然对我说：“我们也去献血吧，说不定我们的一滴血会拯救许多人呢!”我听了以后，觉得妈妈说的对，就对妈妈说：“好啊!可是你不怕疼吗?你会不会晕?”妈妈笑着说：“不怕，就像平时生病打针一样不疼，而且献血对人的健康是有好处的，无偿献血量只是身体内很少的一部分，不信你可以上车问问医生。”于是我陪着妈妈走进了献血大巴。
走进献血大巴，我看见有许多人都在献血，好不容易我们才找到一个位置，我心里不禁热乎乎的-----社会上的好人真多啊!
不一会儿轮到妈妈开始献血了，只见妈妈握紧了手，医生则拿起一个注射针开始抽妈妈的血，那针头可比我生病打针时的针头粗多了，那血通过一根管子流到了一个袋子里。我看见妈妈脸上一直洋溢着快乐的`笑容，再看看周围正在献血的人们都在甜甜的笑哩!
他们为什么笑?而且笑得这么灿烂?我想：他们之所以笑，可能是因为献血会帮助很多人，会挽救许多人的生命，而献血对人体不但产生不了多大的危害，甚至你有时献血还能对身体有益呢，这是一件多么好的事情啊!人们当然和乐而不为呀!没错，我认为他们在笑，一定是因为献血是救人一命的高尚品行，在助人为乐、与人为善的同时，也使自己的精神得到净化，心灵得到慰藉，帮助别人是快乐的，当然献血也是快乐的。
听医生说，献血有益于人体免疫力的增强、抵抗力的提高，经常定期献血者比不献者发病率低，寿命也稍能增长。献血后只要多注意休息，多吃点清淡的食物即可很快恢复体力。看，献血的代价并不高啊!还能长寿呢!将来看到妈妈能长命百岁，那我也是很快乐的。
通过这次事件，使我认识到“人道、博爱、奉献”的红十字精神已充分深入人心，做好事者以德施善，实际上在帮助别人的同时也帮助了自己，奉献自己的一滴血去拯救别人生命的同时自己也得到了快乐和生命的延续，就像歌里唱的那样“只要人人都献出一点爱，世界将变成美好的人间。”
由此可见，献血是快乐的，等我长大了，我也一定要去献血，得到人世间真正的快乐!
